product - Writing Slope Lock No.8 Many times in the past we have been asked 'can you supply a lock for a writing slope?' We had to answer 'no' frequently as when we tried to find such a lock we always drew a blank. Occasionally we have had copies made from originals but this is a very labour intensive and expensive solution. Recently however we came across a writing slope lock, but they had no keys or striking plates fitted. Upon investigating these locks it became apparent, although manufactured from good quality components, some did not work and those that did were 'rough'. |
