I needed to replace a Squires box lock that was at least 30 years old. The replacement was an exact copy of the old lock so it needed no carpentry to fit it. It arrived in a couple of days. Perfect!!!

I originally ordered a completely incorrect lock for a desk I was refurbishing. When I realised what I had done I telephoned Niche Locks. They were so very helpful and understanding and with their guidance I was able to obtain just the right one. The lock arrived quickly and well packaged and I was refunded with the cost of the incorrect lock immediately they received it back. Emails were sent from Niche Locks at every stage of the process. The lock itself is strong, well made and works perfectly with a solid sound.

'Quality is the Key' here; if I may say so, pun not intended but certainly describes their approach. Have used Niche more than once. The service is second to none. Niche Locks.....these Guys are the best! I suffered a burglary in 2015 breaking into my apartment and forcing open and breaking one of the small brass cupboard locks which Niche had supplied years earlier. I was heartbroken, disappointed and dejected fearing that I'd never be able to replace the lock with a similar high quality product. Luckily I remembered that they came from Niche and amazingly they still had my order history. My original order was in 2007!!!
Not only did they match the lock but the keys also.....how about that for service!
Thanks guys ( and girls) I know you'll say it's all in a days work but I really appreciate your outstanding service and easy to use website.

Beware Exorbitant Delivery Charges

I ordered some screws which amounted to £1.20. I was charged £3.20 for standard 2-3 day delivery. When the small envelope arrived the postage was 65 pence. That means the envelope must have cost £1.35! Either you are using postage to increase your profit margins or you are running a delivery pricing system which does not truly reflect the cost. Either way it sound out the wrong message to customers.

For simplicity we have a flat rate for UK shipping of £3.00 for all parcels under £75. Some postage will be under £3.00, and some over, depending on the weight of the items.
As well as the postage the shipping cost also goes towards the cost of the packaging, labour, overheads, and VAT is also included.
